Ala, designed by Paolo Piva, is not just a bed, but a system that allows the headboard to be extended, creating “wings” that make it both more useful and more pleasing to the eye. The pairing of wooden and upholstered elements allows it to reach the highest level of aesthetics, while the version in all wood demonstrates the bed in its most traditional material.
